I like this but...

Why put the responsibility in Liza’s hands in keeping another person sane? Liza chose the prince and that’s her right plus they were destined. Again, I’m not saying I agree in how she did it but that’s her choice, her right to choose her OWN partner.

Zay is lacking for me and if she isn’t for you then that’s fine.

I dont hate Zay, I just favor Liza more. There is nothing wrong if you one can’t defend herself. All I’m sayong is that I like stronger characters MORE.

I’m usually right there with you. I’m the FIRST to complain if a female character is weak especially if the story is about her. Haaaate weak character leads. I didn’t think that of Zay though. Maybe the author did a good job of showcasing her role better. Like her purpose (in this story) is to BE kind and compassionate (or else Aseph will spiral into a terrible killing spree), whereas other female leads have OTHER things they should be worrying about, but instead, they’re waiting to get rescued. =_= like I’m ok with Zay being.... super physically weak because her “role” in the story is to be loving, not strong. But I can’t say the same for other characters in their stories. A good example of this is “the Abandoned Empress”. Lmfaoooo I have a lot of feelings about that giiiiiiiilrl

I still see Zay as a weak character, overshadowed by Azef and the father(my fave). Yes, she is kind and compassionate but that is all she is to me. Like character growth where? Maybe in the coming chapters. We’ll see. She is a good supporting character for me but as the mc it’s a different story.

I tried to work with Abandoned Empress but omg, the lead girl is still freaking weak. She already lived a second life but she a damsel in distress through and through. I dropped that already coz I dont like how she was written. Not someone to look up to.

I gotta say i agree with you there, i personally like Zay more than her sister
