Yeah I mean but she can't just suddenly change all of sudden remember from the start of her life she's been degraded and looked down upon by not only her father but also those around her including the servants at the fathers home. So shes not used to be being respected and treated equally as a human being. That's why she takes small steps with everything she does and even within those small steps there's still a sense of fear of doing something that might be wrong or a mistake making her think that she herself isn't good enough. She's literally been told she was useless all the time from a young age so that's why she's so insecure and unsure of things she can't help but have these feelings or ideas that people think of her that way since its all that's she's felt her whole life.

Lmaoo no no I wasn't yelling at you or anything I just wanted you to kinda see it from her side of the story a bit more, no worries its okay I can be impatient too.
I know it's normal to feel down at the beginning. but she is the lady of the house so she should atleast know that she has the power to control. she made the house better but still thinks she is useless. atleast let her have some confidence. I don't even think that the servants look look down to her.
