Highly unrealistic

He's basically calling them weak, useless, & wusses
And everyone's like, 'right, sorry oppa'

That is so unrealistic and annoying, Im speechless

Youre right, he is harsh and their whole happy go lucky reaction is unrealistic, however, it is realistic for them to have a positive reaction because he is, 1, the leader, 2, the most powerful among their ranks so he is an authority figure and since he's saved them on multiple occasions and taught them useful things they simply assume that he's well meaning, but more than that, he'll keep them alive.

The only reason they follow him is that they think he put himself in danger's way for them, and he knows it too- he lies to them, so they trust him

I feel like I'm reading this through a completely different lens and he's so the manipulative villain turning good souls to the dark side to achieve his own selfish purpose

Even the author described the story's antagonists like that- so they know! but apparently can't create a morally grey hero. Hes straight up an arse with no redeeming qualities ╮( ̄▽ ̄")╭

I agree with this a lot. I hope he changes his personality to trust his teammates more. He’s ordering them around and treating them as if they’re robots and dont have feelings. Like yass op main character but please stop treating them like trash on the battlefield. (like off field he’s pretty fine and they’re close but then...)

it is clear y'all have never been to the army sugar coating in a survival situation is the worse thing. They understand and don't get mad because he is right.

im not sugarcoating? im just saying he could treat them better? Like he’s right but instead of telling them they’re useless and he’ll leave them behind and abandon them if they dont suck it up, he could tell them the reality of the situation like what he did inside the inn. Like straight up telling them, people will die, people ARE dying. Protect yourself first. Instead he treats them like human robots and constantly manipulates their feelings ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

like he’s fine right now as a leader but I’m just saying it would be nicer to see him trust them more, the ML and characters are pretty amazing already so ya

I kinda feel the same way though at the same time, I kind of understand it??? I meaaan what he said was right though how he said it was quite rude. Also, he doesn't really have to rub it in ( ̄∇ ̄") I guess the others just interpret it as his way of looking after them (like a strict parent of some sort) since he's doing so much for them and he said it for their sake too ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ . I guess he can't really tell them everything because they would get suspicious of him. Well, some character development would be really nice though, uwu.
