The bath is a safe place to express yourself (which is why everyone cries in the shower XD). Actually in the Bakemonogatari series, multiple times characters take a bath or shower together and during that they reconcile their differences and resolve internal conflict. I hope sensei does that for these two, that’d be really interesting.
Good point, like it’s a space to let down one’s defenses and wash away the lies. It would be so satisfying to see them together in an onsen, healing from all of their wounds.
The author seems to like meaningful bath scenes. By the end of this I really hope we get to see the two of them taking a bath together as a couple.
