Did you remember that there's a war going to happen? And the an Oracle or whatever said that the priestess (or spirit user or whatever) will save them? What if they returned back the time because they discovered that the bitch is not the real spirit user???
so my theory is that the majician got paid by her father to turn back time and chose to keep the girls memories and yes i spelt magician wrong but i was to lazy to go back and correct it
