If romance is all readers are looking for in mangas like this one, and Skip beat, then they shouldn't read them in the first place. Yes, these mangas fall in the genre of Romance, but development is the core of every story and needs it to proceed further with the plotline. And in Skip beat or Living as the tyrant's older sister, romance would just come in the way of the character's essential development, and therefore I think, it's unnecessary at this point. And I haven't read so many chapters with painful consistency to get a half-assed story + half-assed romance. Sorry, but I'd like the better package even if I have to wait for an eternity.
Kinda hilarious. After reading this section I'm reminded of Skip Beat when people got what they wished for but were shocked (*shocked*, I tell you) to discover that putting two people together before they were ready causes more problems in a relationship and doesn't equate to a magical happy fairy tale ending after all! So the story became boring not only for those demanding the outcome they got but also for those who were hoping for something that was FINALLY different but just got more of the same cliched dregs. Surprise. Surprise.
Alicia's transmigrated into a freaking novel! She would be 's*****' if she expected the plot to change that easily. Even the male lead hasn't changed one iota except for WHO he's obsessed with. Plus, this unhealthy obsession with romance as if it's the only aspect of a story that matters is rather tiresome. Ignoring everything else in favor of romance would lead Alicia to accepting Ares proposal but also make for a very messy storyline. Sad that more people want that than a decent story. Also misunderstandings are human and natural. Can we have at least ONE story where we don't have attitudes only pretending to take the mature position and, instead, have discussions that acknowledge that growth and development of characters is one of the essentials for good storytelling?
