The father was only concerned because she do not care about him so suddenly, as if she never chased after him. He wasn't used to see her uncaring, if not for her new attitude, he won't care about her at all. Even if he's the one who made her come back time, he only did that after Cosette did something evil and need to change the situation. He wished her back so she could save the people, not because he was wrong. And the brother was young, what is he gonna do?
Honestly we could consider that she inherited her social awkwardness from her father, he could be struggling to talk informally to others just as much as she is

im gonna just base my opinions of off the present day father m. he's obviously showing signs of caring for his daughter. he did ignore her for many years so thats a concern. i dont give a shit abt the first timeline. the past father and the one now are experiencing two different situations with their daughter. also does anyone know where the lil brother was during the first timeline
