ok the translation was abit off so I went to read the raws.
basically to summarise, seunghyun's(the bottom) decision and process to get over his feeling for yoosung was hard for him and to know that the section chief had a past (romantic)relationship with yoosung, seunghyun is worried that he will be connected back/be reminded of the painful phase that he had went through.
the section chief replied to that was "so, after getting over a pathetic one sided crush and being determined to start afresh, the new person (aka section chief) you meet turns out to carry a shadow from the past (I think he's referring to seunghyun's past) and that made you feel like shit, is that it?"
