I don't think it was double standards but genuine concern. He knows first hand that such a relationship is hard to maintain. And also Mineyuki and Ayami are relatively new to the industry when compared to the manager and his lover, so such an scandal would inflict more damage to them than to a established professional
I seriously don't think the manager is wrong. Since he is a manager, of course he is worried if the actors got scandal etc. I'm glad the manager gave them a chance.
