Ok Cain got shipped to the academy for like since Aria turned back time and also till now give or take around 4,5 years? Can't really remember I think the story started she was 13-14 now she's about nearing 18 where she can get married alr cue Mielle sending her off with Pinonua let's say Cain is 20, so he has been in academy since 4-5 years ago to learn the ropes of running a countdom thing. So bare minimum contact unless you count holidays and the occasional visit back. Yes they did grow up somewhat together but it's not in direct contact every day
Aria was never in a “sibling relationship” with Cain or Mielle. Those two siblings hate Aria and Aria hates them. Plus Cain was sent to the academy far back when Aria was little. They grew up in the same resident but they are still mere strangers. I also agree with you in one way or another: i also like step sibling love stories where they meet after a decade or smth or fam just got remarried, but with Aria and Cain’s relationship, this is exactly the same as above. And even tho they might’ve not spent a lot of time together, she herself finds him as her brother, she said if herself. That’s why it’s weird to me. I read other story when ML and FL are siblings and grew up together as well. It’s kinda weird to me too but I don’t mind since they give off completely different vibe.

Timeline wise when she is reaching the time where she reveals as Investor A I thought she was going to be 18 but I think I remembered wrong since now becuase of hourglass she looks more mature. But I will say she's still within that range. I read the novel and she had passed a few birthdays but they never highlight the age all the time I may need to reread that again but iirc she was 14ish when she turned back time correct me if I'm wrong
It's not really the ideal adopted sibling relationship since she's been so hated by Mielle (I bet that Cain was made to believe that as well in 1st timeline when Aria died) and definitely does not think of Cain as her brother since he'd slain her before

What I actually want to discuss was the logistics of:
If Cain is being shipped off to the Academy and has minimal contact with Aria during the past 2,3 years, and only now then he comes back because he'd seen her during Mielle's birthday and other events. (Again I would say it is minimal, meaning that they don't go out of their way to meet each other and actually bond with each other) I would think that Aria sees him as a brother in name but not actually being a good brother figure to her?
Like would this be considered as one of those "they were raised together" (childhood friends, ie not blood related relations, speaking in general) sort of thing? Becuase I don't see their rs like that so I said that Aria didn't consider their relationship to be so worthy that she considers him a Brother so to speak.
I'm not saying that they are seeing each other as potential love interests, never. I just realised how the previous message would be seen as that. However it's more of "it was never a proper sibling rs where they have a good bond" type of "not a sibling rs"
How I said she said it herself that she sees him as a brother , when she was like “Seriously? U like me? Ew, I’m still your sister”. Also again how I said I read a dofferent webtoon where there is also siblings as FL and ML and that one I see a bit weird but not like this one, they give off way different vibe. Normally I don’t care about step siblings like falling on love or smth (if they weren’t raised together, but they were) because they are basically absolute strangers to each other and only thing that connects them is their parents suddenly marrying. Normally I’m against shaming like if they fall in love cause like how I said they are strangers and u can’t control your emotions, but that’s if you’re like idk 17 and suddenly become family. Here the thing is different cause they grew up together and actually had this sibling relationship more or less. Also she doesn’t like it so like dude ew back off, u tormented her all this time and now u suddenly like her? Like wtf. Also how old is he?
