Haiyan was a traitor even if he had a change of heart at the end, and it didn’t seem like Shin and Haiyan knew ea other for very long. Haiyan was probably infatuated w Shin, but Shin is clearly in love with the King. There wasn’t much reason for Shin to think about him other than for that sacrifice. There also isn’t clear evidence he died, he may have escaped. Also, w how the story is told, there probably was a time when Shin thought abt Haiyan’s sacrifice, but it wasn’t important enough to be shown in the story. I mean, there’s a few more pressing matters at hand for their kingdom.
Like I get it. But the fact that Haiyan literally died for Shin and no one even cares. Like. Am I the only one heartbroken over that? Shin didn’t even give him a second thought.
