There are two Empress positions in the Empire.
-Empress Regent(unfilled)
-Empress Consort(filled)
in the beginning, the Emperor didn't want to have a wife who longed for his love, which she wouldn't get, bc it would lead to bad times in the Empire.
But, he had to have an Empress. So he decreed his wife would only be Empress Consort and to not expect his love.
So, the FL, knowing this(along with the knowledge from her previous life) accepted the marriage.
Now that things are going well between the two, the advisers are trying to suggest that she should ne the Empress Regent instead.
But Empreor is stupid and thinks they're trying to suggest him marrying someone else.
