Spoiling what happens regarding the whole hug situation:
Lmao they hug, but then she seems to think it’s just a different way to go about it because her faces get even more pervy as she flashes back to him lying naked. He hugs her back. She appears to be pissed or annoyed and I’m guessing that it’s because she realizes that it’s really just going to be a hug. They start having a whole conversation (while they’re hugging and facing each other, so it’s a cute scene really) then I don’t know what she says, but he blushes harder than he has so far. When he pulls back, she’s shocked with a blank wtf face lol, so I have to assume that she was sweet talking him during the hug so he could bed her lol. chapter ends with her in exaggerated tears flowing down her face as she hugs him again because clearly, she won’t get to top him lol. The emperor returns to his palace, all proud of himself and then he blushes again as he thinks back on the hug.
I was actually hoping for spoilers considering the whole thing but thank you for that <3
It’s harder to spoil the whole thing because I truly understand the raws only after part of the scene has already been translated (like the hug stuff). I can tell you that season 1 seems to end at chapter 46, though, after the empress gets out of the palace for the first time. She has a tomboy outfit and looks super cool in that.
