He is still at the stage of warming up and being more open with the love of his life. Remember that he was mentally and physically abused multiple times as a child? Because of this it leaded to Hyesung having trauma which it’s hard to move on from trauma. He was never loved due to the lack of parental attention and was neglected. Because of this his communication skills are very low and didn’t learn how to receive or give love and affection. What Dojin is doing is worse for Hyesung because there is no communication whatsoever. The lack of communication leads to an unhealthy relationship which once again this can lead Hyesung to not move on from his trauma.
