I just think it's more of exaggeration and comedy. Remember this is fiction. things can be exaggerated...all her "problems" she's been having are just her silly delusions. its nothing more to it.
even so, that exaggeration is alarming. it's kinda toxic but is overlooked
I mean its my kind of comedy. Though i guess it might not be enjoyable to many. Especially of this era. This topic is quite sensitive nowadays.
I totally get what you mean, even now I’m tempted to skip the panels focusing on Hori’s relationship with Miyamura and go straight to Ishikawa & Yoshikawa’s sub plot.
Even as the story continues it seems like the side characters are way more interesting than the main 2.
I know that Kyoko can go too far, but I think its too much to say that it is a toxic relationship!! Kyoko is doesn't really no much about relationships and easily can get jealous. Kyoko may get violent but it doesn't mean she loves Izumi any less. Its better that she reacts then she doesn't right? If she didn't have any reactions at all, that you won't know what she really feels. Kyoko is only being honest with herself, Izumi loves Kyoko about her everything. He didn't only for her about just one thing, but as a whole. So I think Kyoko needs more credit.

so im at chap 90 and im thinking of dropping this. idk it's just i find them kinda toxic esp hori. imo tooru-yoshikawa has a much cuter and healthier rs than horimiya even though they not technically together. and i don't rlly see any comments like this so is this just me? like i began noticing hori's toxic traits at around 80+ and its bothered me since. this was so cute and sweet at the beginning tho
