I just read this on the wiki page bc i do that to every series i read.

Ok. Art, Elijiah, and Tess. They are all vessels of a former life, meaning all three of them were from the same world but only Art was able to have his memories since the beginning. Elijiah, regained his memories from his past life when he was kidnapped and when he regained his said memories he was pissed and you know hated Art bc Art was the one who killed his fiance in that life whose name is Cecilia (i forgot if it really was this but yeah) who's vessel in their current life is Tess. SO YES THIS SERIES ALSO HAS A LOVE TRIANGLE I'M-...why tho? It was soooo good before the romance LIKE UGH ╥﹏╥

So summary:
Current Life - Past Life
Art- Gray (killed Cecilia)
Elijiah - Nico (probably also killed by Art)
Tess - Cecilia (Nico's fiance) (was killed by Art) (not sure if she was in love with Gray tho...kinda weird to have been in love with the one who killed you but AIGHT)

Tess, i think probably regains her memories as well bc Elijiah had tried to make Tess Cecilia's vessel in which she does turn into but she's still Tess and apparently still in love with Art....

So if anyone is wondering why Elijiah is the villian now....yeah i think you can guess.

now my opinion bc i genuinely like the story but will drop it once Tess starts becoming even more bratty and over her head....aight not sure if this will also be a spoiler but Tess had a part on Art's father's death...as well as Art's mana core becoming destroyed and being replaced by an ether core (i believe was the name) and we aren't sure if he's as strong as he used to. Art also kills Lucas and destroys his balls bc Lucas had kidnapped Tess and almost raped her (i think defiled was the word used tho, her clothes were ripped and she was unconscious).

Also the other continent....filled with a bunch of peeps like Slyvie tho they EXTRA BAD and yeah honestly this story will GO DOWN HILLLLLLLL if they continue to follow the light novel to the exact and i really hope they somewhat change certain things like Art only agreeing to be with Tess when she turned eighteen. Art is currently 17 in the novel btw so yeah apparently man waited for her to be legal....I- honestly no words. I'll continue to read ofc but i will skip most scenes with Tess...and honestly yes once she came back the story just fcked it self tho i don't blame the authors that much as the publisher and editor probably also has a hand on the content being released. It's fan service i guess but ugh....it's the kind that isn't written well enough to be enjoyed. I would have liked this more if only OP MC's had an equally powerful partner or at least one that is more mature and composed to match the Mc's demeanor but nah we get a bratty princess who has had a crush on her childhood best friend that gets jealous of every girl that might get too close to Art....like girl. HAVE SOME CONFIDENCE AND DONT JUST WHINE, MAKE YOUR PLACE AS HIS PARTNER YOUR OWN. OWN YOUR FCKING PLACE AND STANDING. BUT NAH WE GET TESS. she was so cool and chill in the first chapters too!!!! i genuinely liked her bc she was curious and always active now she's cold but bratty and self centered but always wanting the best for Art....I- I LIKED HER COME ONNNNN why they gotta downplay women characters like this. I would say that Art has the mental capacity of a 57 year old tbh....he has memories from his past life that equals to at least 40 years as well the 17 years he has lived in this current life so if you round that of yeah he is in his 60's which is uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh do i just accept this bc Tess regains her past life memories so that may mean she is also 60????? I- I don't know...

60 or not, it is a fact that bcoz of Tess, Art loses his power and Sylvie dead. Art's Dad almost gone forever too (he once dead but somehow got revive). The bromance gone and bestfriend turned to enemy. All left was the stupid romance. That's why I drop this.
He can fuck with pretty princess now but lose his two bestfriends as payment. I could never understand that logic. Period.
