No, actually he was helping out students as benefactor and one of them was the sister. They think they had an affair just because she had rings with her but the male ring is too small for being really his dad's. The rings were the gift for the protagonist's eighteen years. But no one will ever know what was really happening between them and why they were together at that moment (︶︿︶) (just my thoughts)
