I feel like that blackmail was part of the play. Because of how insignificant the threat was. You cannot be fired just for masturbating, it's embarrassing but not punishable u know. So I felt like Jack enjoyed it. As to father's molestations, incest is immoral but believe it or not, it's not illegal (depends on a country though). But, if his father started that when Jack was still a child (which is implied in the manga), then that's punishable by law as child abuse, rape, u name it. my two cents.
