That was what I was thinking. It’s very likely that Ivona was the catalyst seeing as she’s the only difference from the past.
I feel like it’s either that, or in the past Claude used black magic to turn back time for Ivona. Just a theory without any solid proof but it was confirmed that someone forcefully rewinded time & that would mean black magic,, which would explain the black cloud and font change in the most recent chapter although I feel your theory is much more likely to happen (°▽°)
So I think Claude might be the ‘host’ for the demon king. (Idk if this counts as a spoiler or not because I haven’t read any raws or novels to certify this theory.) But the text bubble colour, the fact that the voice he used wasn’t his own and the lack of his divinity are all coincidences that feel just too connected to be merely coincidences. If this ends up being the case I’m sorry for anyone who reads this and is unintentionally spoiled but this idea just popped in my head and is too good to let go of. If this actually turns out true I’m interested in how Ivona is going to deal with stopping the demon king and saving Claude. Or if she’ll have to either sacrifice herself or Claude to save the world. Any who’s, can’t wait for the next chapter. (=・ω・=)
