Well like she said she has been EXTREMELY lucky I think they author wanted it to be light hearted. As we saw in the beginning if she had ended up with Leo she would be miserable by now if not dead.

I’ve come to enjoy the story but it started kind of slow. I’m glad that redhead from the beginning hasn’t shown up again. I also really appreciate that the Archduke is always naked every other chapter....lol
The only thing I don’t like is how romanticized the author makes slavery to be. By having the character just be super happy and content being a slave, even with the context of her previous life is a bit much, I know they’re using that narrative to have the ML feel bad, as he should, but the way the whole world and character talk about slavery, there’s not a lot of context and I just find it distasteful.
Maybe if she ends with the Archduke and he becomes Emperor, he might find do something about slavery since he’s seen it from her point of view, I don’t know~
