I'm guessing that the author's soul was intended to merge with cecile's body whe she was still inside her mother's womb. Though this is just a speculation. I'm not really sure if this is really true.
I'm guessing that the saintess' soul and the author's soul was swapped so now instead of going to her og body, the saintess' soul was merged into cecile's body. same as the author's soul.
