I kinda felt the same. I mean Shirai may turn out to be a “bad guy” but at this point he’s not really done anything other than being helpful and then just curious. I think Sera is insecure because they haven’t really defined themselves. Muromiya said that their coworker was right and that him and Sera will make the best mismatched team or something like that. That’s the most definition their relationship

For some reason my comment got cut shorter and ended mid sentence lol
I was just finishing with thats the most definition their relationship has that I can remember so I’m sure Sera is worried that someone else could easily steal is senpai away from him. But acting controlling like that very likely will piss Muromiya away or could make Shirai want to mess with him even more especially if Sera’s gonna keep reacting like that.

Yes!! Exactly my sentiments! Incriminating Shirai five seconds into his appearance in the story, simply for things he MIGHT do but hasn't dropped any hints of doing yet, just doesn't feel right ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
"Insecure in the definition of their relationship" AH you're so rightlove the choice of words, couldn't agree more.

ksnksn yea mangago does that weird comment sniping thing often rip(/TДT)/
Imo what you said frames it all up perfectly (=・ω・=) Unless Muromiya has extreme self-esteem issues (which would make him desire a possessive partner and Sera's current self would suit him more), I dont think either that he's gonna like Sera's helicopter behavior
idk why Shirai is getting all that hate in the comments, personally I find his character interesting (=・ω・=)
Sera kinda went overboard there, grabbing Shirai's wrist enough to bruise him. Being petty enough to close the elevator doors is completely fine, funny even, but that physical reaction before was a bit of an overkill, especially because it was clear that Shirai had no intention to hurt Muromiya.
To me, it feels like Sera is not entirely secure in his relationship with Muromiya(I can't recall if they're dating or in a weird romantic space).
Think about it; Shirai has not even made any move to distance the two of them, nor expressed any malicious intent, he's literally just chilling. But Sera took on such explicit hostility.
Being possessive is completely natural, and I find that part adorable, but Sera's extreme reaction when Shirai has done nothing to warrant that except maybe express the slightest, normal amount of interest in Muromiya, felt kinda immature of him.
That kind of hostility, I feel, is much sexier when implicit and controlled.
But I suppose Sera's reaction is realistic, he's much younger than them, and has much less experience liking someone so much, so he probably doesn't understand how to approach things more rationally.
This could probably just be me projecting my preference for emotionally mature characters haha. It'll be interesting to see how Sera copes with this, and grows from it. Relationship developments are delicious to witness tooლ(´ڡ`ლ)
tldr; Shirai is cool and Sera could use some growing up. Muromiya is cute as usual~
