well, she doesn't believe/know that she is the duke's daughter, so she thinks this is happening "rightfully"
since she doesn't know, she thinks she is legally supposed to be with the count
also her past life was heavily abusive, so she has been trained through an entire lifetime to make her less likely to rebel
What makes me frustrated is that she didn't dare to speak up for herself.... eventhough she have the chance too... it kinda ticked me off tbh. Is she trying to be a pityful FL all the way through? :(((((
