neko-chan is with one year in cats years actually seven years, but you cant compare humans years with an animals lifespan :P cause most of them dont life that long...
I checked out the raws and I think there was a slight translation error! I think that the numbers are their elementary school grades. So Neko-chan should be 6-7 (grade 1), Sai should be 7-8(grade 2) and Kai should be 10-11(grade 5). My chinese isn't great though so don't take my word for it and I'm really thankful that this cute story is being translated!<3 <3 ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶ <3 <3

The Japanese word for grade level was same word for age in Chinese so I think it's just misunderstanding in translator's part.
But if Neko-chan is 1 years old, and he and Kurokawa are in the same year, shouldn't Kurokawa be 1 (or at least 2) years old? he looks at least 5 lol
