well, the story is psychological, and the relationships are very messed up. I enjoy seeing the unhealthy/toxic relationships change and sometimes get even more messed up. I don't support these types of relationships, but they are interesting to read about. The author also knowingly made the story messed up, and didn't put a bunch of rape/blackmail expecting for us to think it's cute/romantic. They knew that rape/blackmail is a bad thing, and shows us that by not having someone fall in love with their rapist right off the bat. If they do fall in love, that would be because they have lost hope, and don't have any self-worth.
I mean, the caste system alone is extremely messed up. And the caste allows you to see the twisted personalities of characters, and you get to watch what some will do when given power. Some characters lose hope, and some don't. You get to read while waiting and wondering for people to give in to the caste. Waiting for someone to give in to despair is very interesting in my opinion.
I personally enjoy reading stories that are purposely messed up, but if you don't like that kind of thing I don't think you'd like this story.
I read 4 chapters and I already don’t want to go through this, can some explain to me why they like it? Maybe then I’ll be able to get into it cause I don’t want to drop it
