Actually Remme says "the hero always wins" to Pheonix when they were younger (I don't know why they didn't show it... maybe they're delaying?? Idk) but yeah lol
However I still agree that I wouldn't want to be Phoenix's friend... he's actually a pretty bad friend in my opinion. He never stood up for Remme and was always standing there... doing absolutely nothing!! Like, the other party members just said: we were jealous of ur relationship with Remme. So basically the (main)
reason why Remme was bad mouthed by his comrades was because of Phoenix's bad attitude
I still want to believe that Phoenix is a great friend and just didn't want to break his promise to Remme
I'd like to see an end were Remme and Phoenix have a draw (but all the others of the hero group loose) end they just strengthen their bond more and talk about what each of them did after they parted ways.
Hero’s a good person. You can see how close he is with Remmé.
But like... saying things like “the hero always wins” made me cringe. I hope this manga aims to show that the hero doesnt always win by having Remmé defeat them in the end bc u shouldn’t have to be born a hero to succeed TuT
