He did when he asked Hwi for a second chance that he realized his feelings for Hwi when he was with someone else (that itself was a very clear hint on what he meant with that without saying it out loud)
Ah, thank you, no one said that happened, so this means that Hwi does know, and now he is pulling back even though he is trying. That explains Hwi's expression at the beach. He's trying very hard, but I sense his sadness.
...and Param still hasn't told Hwi, and as we suspected, the new blonde guy is TROUBLE already wanting to meet with Param alone to talk about his past with Hwi. Bitch, I don't think so!
And I'm telling you Hwi isn't stupid which is why he is now holding back as well. He has to think about being with Param now because he is protecting himself and afraid to let Param in any further, so we only get a fantasy not the real thing (shower). Still, I don't want Param touching him until he's freaking honest.
I get the angst and all, but Param deserves to get busted and work his way back to Hwi. Hwi deserves the truth regardless if they were dating or not back then because Hwi should get to DECIDE on his own whether to forgive or not forgive Param.
