yaoi is an old term used in 70s-80s only foreigners use that term to differentiate BL with sex and BL without sex in japan yaoi/shounen ai are all BL since its BL it obviously needs plot lol
if they wanted to make porn they would've made a short doujinshi since they obviously made a whole volume for this story then there's a plot behind all this porn which is just straight up terrible in my opinion
Yoo bl is a genre and yaoi is another genre don't mix it bl has no smut no sex and yaoi is ur typical sex scenes every chap and most of em don't have plot so u should just read shonen ai if u don't like it
The thing is that doujinshi are mangas that are fan based so the characters would be from an anime or something and I might be wrong but I’m pretty sure the characters in this manga aren’t from any anime or show of some sort
doujinshis are not limited to that
doujin mangas exists therefore there is no excuse for the lack of substance

Ooh I heard before that "Yaoi" is short for "no head, no tail, no plot" in jp or something similar which meant it exists soley for porn. Also heard that yaoi is a pretty outdated word in jp and most ppl use "BL" or "Gaycomi"

i think people should stop appropriating other languages for their own convenience and actually take the initiative to learn and understand what these words mean i think it's a little differed compared to "God be with you" and "simp"
