I've got the feeling that there might be some authors, who are creating these stories with the typical, tiresome asshole (seme) to deal with their own problems or live out some asshole fetish.
I'm not sure how high the demand for disrespectful motherfuckers is, but it's terrifying how many damn stories are having absurdly obnoxious (male) leads
