Your not overthinking sis! I thought the exact way, I think the brother has a crush on him. I feel like it’s a one sided love, Oscar doesn’t look like he likes him. He even lied to him. As I’m writing this I’m trying to come up with ideas.
Maybe the brother is using him in a way. Ok, I don’t really know how to explain it. But I feel like he’s using Oscar to keep him “up”. Not in “positions” of the house, but like mentally. He’s only using him for a “shoulder to cry on”, and also using him for his intelligence. I feel like he’s going to become selfish and want Oscar to only be his, but not in a romantic way. I feel A LOT of ways about them two.
I feel like he’s going to become possessive of Oscar. He’s going to go crazy and shit when he finds out Oscar kinda betrayed him. I just imagine him finding out, then the brother tells Oscar that Oscar is his. I feel it coming. :| He’s going to feel betrayed.
I also feel that something is wrong with Oscar, I feel like he’s hiding something. He’s to much of the quiet type. I have a question

I don't know how to say this but isn't there an 'odd' tension between Oscar and the Empress's brother? I don't know how to explain it. The tension between those two feels beyond friendship.
