In my opinion, Elgy is a pretty ambiguous character in that he's not entirely a friend or a foe. Sure he's a friend to Heinley, but beyond that he's pretty much a lone wolf. Most of what he does is for his own personal gain/revenge. His aim is to get Sovieshu and Navier to divorce, but it's not for the sake of Heinley. He also doesn't really care about Rashta or what happens to her either, since she's basically just his pawn in order to get the divorce to happen.
ok so is elgy pretending to be on rashtas side and make it so sovieschu divorces the empress? since hes friend with heinley (bird boy idk how to spell his name lmao) i dont see him being a bad guy
