they really didn't grow up together. Hari was only with the family for 2 years before their parents died. then the next 5 years or so Eugene was basically away all the time.
IKR ...LIKE we could say they grew up.like siblings if their parents were alive ..i mean then its a constant reminder
But they literally deviated before they could even bond like actual brother and sister
And she became a small but his only emotional supporter
Thru letters and stuff
And after they reunited they both started feeling something else but never was like brother and sister
Anyway i ship them
I mean what does it mean they "grew up as siblings"
Tbh after the sweet parents passed away, atleast eugene did not grow up like that ...he just went into adult mode
And tbh they both always had this weird air about them when around each other alone
