In my opinion the "rape scene" does add something to the story itself. Imagine if the scen would be like what you visualized, there will be no enough reason behind the drama. The main premise is that you don't know when you are going to die and that is why doing the things that you wanna do, no matter how immoral or bad it may be would become driven by the thought of dying. If the rape scene did not happen that won't justify the thought of his father dying, without the father dying there will be no moving and the rest.
Another thing that the "rape scene" showed is the love or how the MC recognized his feelings for the uke. The feeping or the thought of him forgiving and still loving the uke despite all his baggages and mistakes adds a little spice to the story.
Disclaimer: I am against rape or any other unconsensual intercourse in anyway, but sometimes even though it may look bad it adds more interest in the story. Again I am not in any way agreeing to rape. Just my opinion tho and everyone have their right to their own opinion. Thanks!
Yeah I agree. I think if it were simply putting hands on the dick it wont push Yuni to think hard about them together, it could be think of as a joke too perhaps.
Keep in mind that Natsuki was deeply traumatized. I think the shock of Yuni and him pushing Natsuki away after the incidient really gets me. Their expression and how mortified Yuni was. In the end though, Natsuki really regrets what happened and has mention it many times. Throught the story his father is always mentioned, in the end its about his regrets and how he gets over it.
Ofc irl it wont happened, natsuki would've been jailed by now and their friendship will be over for good. But yea, i think i like it as it is.

Okay.... so the rape thing was totally unrelated to the story, the uke could have simply kissed the seme and took the seme hand and placed it on his own dick, telling him to fuck him. The seme refuses and rushes out the place
The entire plot-line would remain the same, and we could add that the seme started to have sexual thoughts and wished that night could be done again so he would do it right.
Instead of having rape, which has 0 effect to the plot. This is why the romantic rape troupe doesn't work, because simply the story elements would be the same with and without it.
If something doesn't add effect to the story, it is rendered useless.
