I take issue with narratives like this. I feel for Saku and I want him to work out his trauma, but I dislike that Kyousuke is in a position that he has to suffer because he can’t forget Saku. I want Kyousuke to move on. I feel like that’s better. It seems a little sad that his narrative is to just wait on the other party until they become emotionally available. That isn’t to demean Saku’s trauma, but I want to see Saku fix himself and Kyousuke to move on towards a relationship with someone who actually deserves him right now rather than him wait on Saku. I’m cool with them just being friends

Thissss! I totally agree. Yeah, I would be glad to see Saku get some help, but Kyousuke definitely has the potential to move on and find him some real lovin. All wishes aside, kyousuke is still in love with saku and that’s just how it’ll be. I hope there will be a manga like how you described it should be one day!

But it's not Saku's job to get Kyousuke to move on. Kyousuke has to do that himself.

I know. That’s precisely the point I’m trying to make. I want Saku to heal on his own and I want Kyousuke to move on while he does that rather than wait for him. After all, who knows how long Saku’s healing process will take
