there's three ppl who responsible about shulli's death, cardinal, ohara family and head knight. i will explain from the roots
unfortunately, jeremy keeps dealying his marriage with ohara bcs her family against shulli to come at the wedding... and ohara father that's was in edge make a deal with him.
if jeremy will married ohara in appointed day then shulli can come the wedding and he agreed...ofc this was such a bullshit, ohara fathers told ohara to tell shulli that jeremy doesn't want her to come and shulli take this bait and decided to go away secretly.

if you wondering why cardinal was in this mess it was bcs he obsessed with shulli that make he think if he can't have her then no one can...and head knight hate her, so after they disguise as a mercenary they stopped the carriage and kill shuli.
Shulli body was mutilated into pieces and spread all over valley and her head is beyond recognition to point nora doesn't let children see her dead body. ofc jeremy that was waiting shulli in his wedding feel odd at how she doesn't come and decided to stop the wedding even before it started (it's to late jeremy :((( )

oh i forgot, even ohara hate shulli she doesn't want to kill her, so when she knew that shulli's death in tragic way she was so shocked

Even the head knight....?! I thought the head knight a good person/character...oh no

in the first life he hate her bcs he sees shulli as a threat and thinks she doesn't worth that position it was explained in first or second chapter (i forgot)
but fortunately in the second life he realized that he was wrong, i hope something like in the first life (killing her) was not happening again or he doesn't do something like harm shulli or getting in her way bcs i do want to believe that he become a good person now

I'm so surprised as well,cos I didn't think that even though it was the first life, that the Knight to actually to that extent and kill her- I mean yeah he didn't like her- but then he had to go kill her? Whyyyyyy?

the only part i know because he was a kind of loyal at johannes wife so when johannes brought shulli as his wife after the death of first wife he feel betrayed
the real reasons i don't really know, tried to check novel update forums maybe there's some answer lol
