I partially understand what you say but you gotta take a look at the MC(Seme) his childhood wasn’t the best but he didn’t use that to antagonize other characters. Can’t use the past to justifying The Snake(white hair) behaviour, his cruelty is based on competition and grudges towards Sha Hu Rong.
