i think this is all stupid and overly frustrating, but i don’t think mc has even considered seriously that he may become a beta or an omega, and i think thats why the ml puts so much emphasis on loving him regardless of his alpha status. mc & ml are convinced mc will be an alpha, and alphas don’t fall in love with one another; ml is saying he will love mc anyways. if mc does present as a beta or as an omega than the “we literally won’t be able to feel love towards one another” thing will become moot, and it won’t matter. because of that, i can understand to some extent why there is so much pressure on whether or not mc presents as an alpha. still, it’s frustrating that they aren’t considering their alpha/alpha relationship as a possibility but rather as an absolute.

Secondly another thing for this specific omegaverse is Omega's are super rare, like I think they mentioned its less then 2% of the population, so less that they tested and know everyone is going to be an alpha, so much as no one in the school has an omega in the family therefore are most likely not an omega (genetics yay!)
males are typically alphas , females are typically omegas. for one sex to be the opposite of the usual one is extremely rare. i think betas smaller chance than aplha/omega too
in this universe, men almost always present as alphas and women almost always present as omegas once they turn 18. the opposite happening is extremely rare and i think presenting as a beta is next to impossible. thats why theyre so sure he'll present as an alpha
