well she should've just stopped after the main charac said she had a girlfriend. She's being way too obsessed. I know she gave her hope but please understand the fear the main character felt when her mom found out the letter ramona gave to her.
Well as Ramona said herself, you can't love one person forever (I hope Simone says the same thing to her face). What do you mean the MC gave her hope? They were still getting to understand their feelings at least Simone was until her current girlfriend. They were clearly kids then and still dependent on their parents so I think very few people will have the balls to stay with someone at that age when you don't know what you're feeling and when you don't have the support of your parents and when the world still is not a safe place for sure feelings to grow freely. It must have been pretty terrorising being outed that way. Ramona is being disrespectful to Simone who has clearly told her that she has a girlfriend and she doesn't even consider Marissa. I'm not sure Ramona is still in love but time will tell

And when Simone started dating her girlfriend (forgot her name) they were in Uni.. so in one or two years she got the understanding how the world works and that she can stand up to her parents ..... that's BS..... It's not I hate the main couple...I love them.. it's just I was saying how people were bitching about her in the comments and she haven't done anything yet...

You'll wonder what a year could do to you! Some changes are important than others and they could have different impacts on you as from my own personal experience. So yes a year as got many hours, days, weeks, months let alone two years and you could be from the ignorant brat you were, life will beat hard lessons into you and make you a very understanding person. You choose how to react, you either learn from your past and move on or drown in it
It's all drama, Ramona was bound to reappear and there are more pressing issues like Simone's mother and the fact that their relationship as gone public which is interfering in their personal and professional lives...I don't know if it's utopic but they are handling it all pretty well
