The one time i actually want the side characters side story... EG the side characters from Cupid in the Rainbow Trap: I DO NOT CAREEEE!THEYRE SO BORINGGG and they're introduced as plot devices to stir up the main characters, throughout the main story i barely learnt surface level stuff about them (wowww they have the same coloured aura boohoo!)╥﹏╥
But these side characters have their own conflicts and goals, they have more interesting yet human reasons to stir up the main characters, and the chemistry is thereee. The foundation is all there for me to like them as characters on their own and it was sprinkled throughout the main story. I WANT MORE!!! GIVE ME MY ENEMIES TO FRENEMIES TO LOVERS ROMANCE!!
Where's the lil brown haired guy kneeling and asking to support the author from ?
MC reincarnates into the villainess with white hair. She has a reputation for being obsessed with the ml with black hair. She chills down in her body, and finds the og-protagonist as a child to return him to his uncle (ml who she was obsessed with). She doesn't want it known that she found and is friends with the og-protag because ppl wld naturally assume that she did it to get closer to the ml (because of her reputation). Og-protag is so freaking adorable you just wanna squeeze his little face. Og-protag is innocently shipping ml and mc because he wants the ppl he loves to be with him more. She's also doing some subtle scheming behind the scenes so Og-protag can have a good life.
Idk if im mixing it up some details with a different one (that i also can't remember the name of) where mc has brown hair and her family is in debt, she looks for the Og-protag in a dump, she takes care of him for a few weeks because he's recovering and gets attached. When she takes protagonist to the ml, protagonist cries for her to stay, so she stays for a while then ml n mc decide on arranged marriage.
I think this is the best dom/sub-verse ive ever read. The rest always have a touch of dubious consent (to non-con) when dom/sub has it's roots in bdsm, and proper bdsm play prioritizes explicit consent. This couple has honest, comfortable conversation with each other; are always checking in with each other and seeking feedback.
Guys i dont watch markiplier, what is the context of that child rubbing his face in his chest X,DD
BL recs where they save the other/each other from neglectful/abusive families. They become the others/each others safe haven and found family, and they live happily ever after. ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
Bonus if karma is not blind (≧∀≦)
Is there any fantasy world recs that focus more on worldbuilding or the slice of life of living in a fantasy world that doesn't stray too far into "arc 3: epic fight, arc 4: epic fight, arc 5: epic fight" i mean they're cool and all but I'm looking for something more slow paced with a MC that actually interacts with the world.
i was reading https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/kamitachi_ni_hirowareta_otoko/ and i had liked the beginning with him surviving in the forest, i also liked him making a unique/niche business in the fantasy world using the slimes, i just got reaaaaallllyyyy turned off by the implication that the little noble girl is a love interest when he is mentally THIRTY-NINE YRS...
I had liked this fantasy comic called "Alfie" by Incase but it was 97% porn
I liked https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/remonster/ in the beginning when it was about group building and stuff..
It doesn't have to be isekai.. idk what I'm asking for. Im a fan of DnD too, so idk if i shld be looking for this in western comics or something but YK!!
IT'S A FANTASY WORLD!! LET'S EXPLORE IT!! NOT EVERYTHING HAS TO BE POWERSCALING AND THE MC DOESN'T HAVE TO BE THIS OP INVULNERABLE SUPERMAN, THEY CLD HAVE THEIR SHORTCOMINGS AND THEY CLD RELY ON THEIR TEAM, AND THE TEAM OF CHARACTERS CLD BE THE MCs OR WE CLD JUST GO ON SILLY LITTLE FANTASY ADVENTURES AND LEARN STUFF ABOUT A MAGICAL WORLDD AND MAYBE WE FIGHT SOME BAD GUYS BUT NOT ALL THE TIME WHERE IS THE MAGIC?? WHERE IS THE FUN? THE TOWNS?? THE PEOPLE? THE PLANTS?
Sorry guys I'm rambling and going crazy lol.
The reasoning for the major antagonist's, Grace (/Sellonia), whole devious plan is... really a dumb one: ... she's lazy.
SPOILERS
Summary from Turbostop (novelupdatesforum):
So Sellonia, knowing that she has happy future where she defeats demon king and gets all mls without anything bad happening to her, decided to:
- risk potentially injuring or losing her original body, when she's not in control of it.
- risk the not killing the demon lord (which did kinda happenned) and having all people that took part in subjugation dying, as well as whatever would've happened to the rest of the world after that.
- use some voodoo dark magic that not only could backfire on her, but would make both her and her family a lot of enemies once discovered.
All because she was lazy and didn't want to do it herself?
..
...
I personally think it's the author that is lazy... The antagonist knows that she's in a novel. If you got isekaied as the MAIN CHARACTER, and YOU KNOW THAT EVERYTHING WILL WORK OUT FOR YOU, what would compel you to use black magic to transfer your soul out of your own body so that someone else can do the hard work for you??? How is that even A THOUGHT in your head like how wld you even come to that conclusion? she knows that if she stayed in the fmc's body (which is hers!) she will be safe because her happy ending is guaranteed! The author cannot convince me that this is a normal thought process, that this is a reasonable justification...
The author tried to do this 'ooo yhhh complex! Ooo plot twist! Bet you didn't see that coming ;)' when a simple reason cldve worked just fine. How many isekai stories have we read where a fmc transmigrates into an extra and takes the ogML?? The author wanted to do something bigger than themselves but lacks the creativity to think of something actually shocking and complex. It just leaves me thinking that the antagonist is really fxxking dumb when an antagonist is supposed to be intimidating and a worthy opponent.

Idk exactly what type of recs I'm looking for so I'll just list some things I like about this. it's alright if your rec only has one or a few of what I'm listing:
1. A seme who chooses to be a silly goofy guy but is actually intimidating.
2. A seme who is strong but tries his best to be gentle
3. Perfectionist uke with a mask
4. Rivals (laced with sexual tension) to lovers
5. you can feel their tension, attraction and chemistry through every interaction, even when theyre just acquaintances (like this seme's interest in the uke starting all the way back to that first drinking get-tgt)
6. Uke tries to do difficult things on his own but in the end learns he can trust his friends to protect him
7. Likeable secondary characters (like the chairman's daughter, the coffee guy, uke's work team, even the stalker grew on me)
She possessed a villainess who is known and hated for her evil acts in an unpopular novel. But becau...

Neglectful family but their relationship is slowly being rebuilt i feel.
GxB, GL, BL, doesn't matter, you can just say what type it is when you rec~
I'm looking for novels (or manhwas) where mc has family that is neglectful/abusive, or believes antagonist' lies over mc, then regrets or is torn up by guilt when it's too late (or maybe it isn't too late and they slowly build back trust and respect). They're initially prideful and rarely give mc the benefit of the doubt due to habit, and their negative perception slowly start being chipped away when they realise the extent of their prejudice/lack of empathy.
This type of story would most likely be Second Chance, Transmigration or Reincarnation something, but as long as it's neglectful family deeply regrets and grovels, then I'm all ears!
I've read Death is the only ending for the villainess novel and was supposed to be letting the manhwa marinate but I caved and binged it. I also made a whole list of this type and I'm hungry for more: https://www.mangago.zone/home/mangalist/1104372/
This wldve been a rare 5/5 w/o the blackmailing but idk why mangas MUST shoot themselves in the foot.
Any recs where a male MC reincarnates as the villain like Trash of the Count's Family https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/trash_of_the_count_s_family/ , and is also fantasy/magic action packed? No BL unless the MC is active in the fight scenes and are really cool.
In a lot of cases when a female MC reincarnates as the villain, they tend to become a passive saint. So I'm hoping to see MCs who have at least 1 or 2 of the following traits: confident, smart (maybe even calculating), intimidating, rough exterior with a golden heart (bonus if those who really care can see it) and especially really cool to watch in a fight. Thanks in advance!
