I don’t actually mind the flashback all that much, because it’s still an interesting story on it’s own, but it’s incredibly bloated with too much detail to be inserted within a larger so unceremoniously. It’s more like a full prequel at this point. It only needed to show the nature and extent of both dragons’ relationships with Brian, their relationship and conflict with each other, Brian’s own thoughts and feelings on all if it (ie. his character). Something it’s only just begun doing. This is all Ian would need to make his own decisions in the present and remove a lot of the confusion and suspicion he feels. Not that we know when or if he’ll learn any of this because the jump to the past happened so randomly. I can’t help but wonder if knowing all of this will make the present narrative far more frustrating. But who knows?

There are some in the comments but I thought I’d add some here. Only the first 1-2 chapter have been translated. The series apparently focuses more on her family and, as far as I’m aware, her brothers are just brothers. That book looks like p*rn to anyone else lmao. ML is a dragon with long black hair (2nd vol. cover) and doesn’t appear until later. Also, regarding that scandalized comment: her brother acts like a normal close-in-age sibling?? My brother and I act like that with each other (eg. I’d clown the hell out of him if he referred to himself in the 3rd person and we may fight, but it’s not like I don’t care). I don’t understand siblings who dote on each other but I know they exist. She even says in the synopsis he acts like a typical sibling. Anyway, I think she’s super valid for wanting her money
Bro those spoilers…wtf. FL would be totally valid running off with her maid and selling art for money idk. In a better world, the plot would be that ML had been manipulated by the many people who wanted them apart and could not communicate that (idk brainwashing) but then someone’s plan to split them up via memory loss (break off their connection entirely) went wrong because he liked her from the start. But no. Does he forget everything from the time he lost his memories when he gets them back? What was the point of the amnesia arc? To give FL false hope that maybe things could be different?

I’m jumping ship. Novel spoiler forum says that this is full of inc*st, infidelity, and general unhappiness. Everything I hear about the dimension-shifting, transmigration, alternate timelines, and time-travel is confusing. Alex (her “father”) is the closest thing we get to a ML and is even worse of a person than he seems now. The other suitors include her two unrelated half-brothers, both of whom get really obsessive, her ex-husband, and a half-brother whom she is biologically related to. Even if she doesn’t commit to relationships, she does sleep with all of them. I have no idea if the artist will change things
SLEEP WITH THEM WHAT
Oh it is all levels of fucked up. She sleeps with them and a half-brother she’s related to by blood. And the father is essentially ML.
Even the father- OH HELL NAW THANKU FOR TH SPOILER YOU'RE A LIVESAVER COZ IM GONNA DROP THIS SHIT ASAP
