Aside from the forced marriage thing which appears to be a feature of the world-building, I appreciate the fact that the marquis is emphasizing her consent and agency to make decisions. It’s clear he’s trying to sound out what exactly she can and can’t handle and accommodate for her needs. Also he’s almost certainly that “girl” from the flashbacks because he obviously knows who she is.

It feels like an age since the last chapter, I didn’t even realize how much I missed this. Also for some reason I find blondie kinda sus, especially since he’s so insistent on the saintess business. Cabel has been around since the early pre-war days and knew her before all of this, so I trust him a lot more.

Would you be blaming the king for his reaction if he was a woman? The man is still a traumatized victim of sexual assault and, before mc took over her body, the queen had been adding to his trauma. It seems like he genuinely feels bad for what he did on impulse because he can’t forget the look on her face after he did it. Yes, I feel bad for MC because she was undeniably hurt, but I do think she will be understanding once she learns the truth. What he did was hurtful but it was an impulse based on a kind of trauma one does not simply get over.

I won’t spoil anything but I highly recommend checking out the novel on their site, it’s great. They also did a good job with the translation so it’s a smooth read
Edit: I didn’t put the link because the scan team said where you could find it at the beginning of the chapter and I don’t want to get them in trouble. Just google “watashi wa sugoi desu” and it’s on their site
Do not ask where I saw it I don’t want to get banned—it’s the same place they always are anyway. I can’t read Korean so I have no idea what was said but…
YOOOOOO the prince drops his whole fucking act and I’m shook. Definitely sinister, mildly creepy, and very sexy. Girl run back to the man who smiles at you like you’re his world.
