plot-wise you kinda can tell haesoo is meant to end up with taku. like jowoon is the old flame that cause their family to split up and then developed into a toxic relationship. now that their parents are reconciling, i just dont think that they want to ruin it for their parents. i hv a feeling that jowoon is gonna give up at some point. and taku is kinda this sociopath photographer that is starting to feel things for someone. and haesoo is trying to learn what it means to like someone or be in a proper relationship. like all that built up info about them cant be for nothing. you can tell who is meant for who, and who is meant to give up. well, unless... there's a readers riot ╮(￣▽￣)╭
But like... Joowon's father's priority for the marriage would be to keep their sons separated. I don't know if it's is the best reason for the marriage.

But he said it himself... When she started having doubts. He stopped his fake smile and then started how he knew about Joowon and Haesoo and that if there won't be any taboo (their remarriage) they will stay together. He also offended Haesoo. How he was destroying/corrupted his son. Tbh I wouldn't want to be with a guy like that who offends and accuses my son right in my face.
They are more of a business partners than anything else at this point.
