As a sister to my brother who is completely deaf. This is amazing.. I haven't seen a manga about the deaf at all.
I wish all deaf people where as nice as yuki is.. most of the deaf community are rude to those that can hear. My brother went deaf over time. And we sent him to a special school so he could learn with our problems. That is where we learned that just because my brother had a little hearing left. The other kids who where completely deaf hated him and mocked him.
I love this. I love how the ML is learning her language so he and her can communicate. I think it's the most adorable thing.

Well, I think it's different knowing about them than actually meeting them in person and having to interact with them while they interact with your partner, which is why Heil said it'd be 'unpleasant' for River. Not only will he meet the fire god, but also ask a favor out of him... I personally wouldn't mind as it's in the past, but it makes sense for River or anyone else to feel jealousness until a certain point.
