Do elves have a shorter lifespan in this story? Usually they can live hundreds of years so there should still be some powerful ones and ones who remember that era after only 100 years.

I don't like stories where the ml has multiple wives, even in name only...can someone spoil me? Is he really going to marry someone else? Or maybe he'll raise her status thanks to the fact that she's a spirit mage or something like that? What will happen to her agreement with the brother and sister duo?
I have a feeling some chapters are missing at the end but whatever. It's a short story, not too bad but don't expect too much from it either.
My guess is that they are actually twins. The emperor wanted only one child so the empress gave one to her maid who raised Freya as her own daughter but still teached her the basics of manners and etiquette in case it was ever needed.
