soo idk what you want spoiled so ima just spoil the rest of the plot. the maid mielle sent to spy on aria tries to poison her, she gets caught but aria makes a deal with her to incriminate emma, mielle’s fav maid, emma gets executed, this sends mielle over the edge. cain has fallen in love with aria and wants to do anything to get her so when mielle tells him a plan to incriminate her, he thinks he can be her knight in shining armor and save him from jail. the plan mielle suggested is framing her for attempted murder. mielle calls aria to the stairs and pushes her father, blaming it on aria... luckily sir asher saves the day, teleports her out and becomes her alibi. let me know if you want any more spoilers

okay this comic is good but it feels like the FL lost her character towards the beginning of the story. like she was set up to be this intelligent, brave, and courage’s FL who stood up to the Mao and even talked to the wizard??? guy at the beginning when she was being summoned. and then she turned into this typical FL. i was really excited for her at the beginning.
okay i totally agree with the comment saying she needs to still be held accountable but i’ve noticed people would be singing a different tune if it was a male villain with a tragic backstory, and would continue to excuse his actions because “HIS DADDY HIT HIM”. idk just something i’ve noticed. even fictional male characters get more slack...
I totally understand what ur saying but I disagree cause people would do this if the onnly.kotive was like love or something but this is different and I think that even if a guy was in her position I'd still hate him
I honestly doubt that. If you think the ML did the same actions as Rosemond(?) and had the same backstory people would probably be more willing to blame him. That's my opinion tho
i’m not talking about this story in particular it’s just a reoccurring theme on this site to not hold male villains accountable while also giving female ones the brunt end of the stick.
it’s just a reoccurring theme on this site. like i’ve seen many many backstories such as the female villain (Sangwoo for example) and everyone foams at the mouth to defend him (or not “defend” him but talk about what he’s fictionally done in a joking manner) , and it’s jarring to see the difference
indeed. claude and anastasius of wmmap are examples of that. misogyny is always present for as long as male character designs attract readers
I understand that I make jokes about sangwoo and stuff but I've never liked him the whole story shouldn't even be romanticized at all but if she directed all her anger unto only those who wronged her and not everyone id support her the same for male characters
