I like how the twisted side of yu made ryu twisted in turn. Both are assholes and know they are. You could really feel the friends to lovers in this one. Both are stupid for each other

I read a few chapters into the novel out of curiosity and cause I'm really excited about the possible romance in this but then I realised he keeps dying still and that's honestly terrifying. His stubbornness was heavily foreshadowed in the beginning when he kept commenting that one thing and then when he killed himself 4k+ times but nothing makes you realise quite how scary this dude is than reading chapter upon chapter of his failures until his plan finally comes to fruition
