i’m not even sure i can be properly happy about them finally getting together after all the convoluted shit it took for them to get to this point. this is literally the first time elzay has actively put her foot down, and all it took was publicly humiliating her family and the man she was supposed to love, fainting at least half a dozen times, and crying real hard until aseph... stabs himself and frames her for it? i’m still gonna read to see if we see some better developments, because it’s not uncommon for a first season to be a little rough around the edges, but jeez
personally, if i were athy, i’d go for lucas. mentally, she’s technically a teen/young adult as well as someone with intense magical powers. on top of that, she’s been reincarnated. lucas on the flipside, is probably the only one who would be able to even understand that/actively be someone that athy can connect to about who she is.
