I am excited to see how her style will progress in the manga, I mean from her early works, she has come a long way. This plot, it's kinda up in the air, I am anticipating what no. 10 will be, how Shirotani will behave with others that aren't Kurose, and how Kurose's mentality will develop as he realizes Shirotani might be cured. Still, there is this underlying gloom over the manga that indicates it might be more twisted than that :)))) And I am ready for it.
As noted, she had a child from rape, i cannot imagine the emotional and psychological breakdown one would feel if they had their rapist's child. She could have given up Momo for adoption but I think she kept him to allow the molestation to happen, to get revenge on something that of her rapist. It's sad, there are no villains in this story, only hurt people who hurt other people.

Yes what happened to her was horrible, wrong, but it does not justify her actions. As you said; give him up or not have him at all...
ikr, thats like saying people who suffer abuse during childhood and grow up to abuse other children are not at fault and should not be punished.
There are a lot of villains in this story, and most of them seem to want to do Momo harm. The mother. The pedophiles. The abusive lover/sugar-daddy. The guys at the gaming parlor. Etc.
This kid has suffered enough. Unless the mother wants to atone and help him now--financially, with apologies, with real action that shows grief and repentance--she needs to go to a ditch an die and leave him all her money in her will.
The mother is the biggest villain. She may have been a victim herself at one point, but she was an adult. Momo was a child. She needed to DIE to protect him, not make him pay for anything or hurt for anything. She doesn't get a pass.
Aizawa is one of my favorite semes and the story is so fluffy!!! ^^ I love rereading this from time to time, definitely want to buy the book
