I’m read this for the second time and I didn’t think I would cry again since I already knew the story but the scene where he came out to his friends really got me and I started bawling again. This is just so emotional bc it’s based from real life experience and the best story I’ve ever read.
I thought hanabusa and the mc would be end game… at some point I thought that the step bro would die and hanabusa would get help for the mc and they’d end up better together but noooo it just had to be messed up. He got him therapy after feeling guilty for blaming him.He literally turned his back on him during his worse. And the therapy didn't help much seeing he ended up with his abuser. I honestly don't like any of the characters except the ml and his father.
