MAKE IT MAKE SENSE PUHLEASE NOTHING IS GETTING THROUGH MY HEAD ANDI DUNNO IF I'M JUST DUMB OR WUTH

First of all, yes men like that are everywhere, especially in the time period caliope was in, I don't think author did the prince dirty, but just used him to contrast his and the white haired guy's role in the story. Secondly, no prince didn't have a hooked nose, the only thing I noticed was the brunette hair which was very lackluster which says it all, he's just a side character who's going to make the main characters look better to the audience

Sooo uhhh can someone spoil me, is it ever revealed if the timelines he left continue after he dies?

I didn't read the novel or anything but! according to my knowledge about time travel I am 99.99% sure that there is only one time line and that is whichever one Gongja is currently in. Why do I believe this? That's 'cause in order for the 'future' time line to continue it would need the reasonable existence of Gongja. But since the existence of Gongja went 24 hrs in the past, the future faces a discrepancy due to the loss of an existence and therefore ceases to in and of itself exist.
I guess another way to say this is, everytime Gongja kills himself he goes back in time right? well, when he goes back in time he reverses time itself instead of going into the past and meeting a younger version of himself. Since he never meets his younger version, and cannot go to the future again there only exists one timeline instead of multiple timelines.

...Were you able to follow that? ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
